Nicola
Nicola is a volunteer member of staff who has strong analytical and commercial acumen, with an ability to organise and prioritise work she is accustomed to working in busy service environments where there is a need to demonstrate initiative to ensure operational needs are continually met. She assists with farm2grows policies and procedures and uses her skills and qualifications to ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and are up to date. In her paid employment she is also the Fire Warden & Main Fire Controller, ensuring all staff are aware of the evacuation procedures. She carries out the risk assessments for farm2grow and ensures these are log and safety procedures are followed. She has undergone First Aid training and has a Fire & Practical use of Portable Fire Extinguishers & Fire Warden Duties Certificate and an OCR level 2 NVQ in Business & Administration. Nicola is joint co facilitator in organising social events/activities held within farm2grow. She also enjoys her time in the growing area digging and planting along with the volunteers.
