Mo

Mo has worked for the local Authority for 22 years and has vast experience of delivering a frontline service. She completed a B TEC in housing studies to enable her to do her job with a better understanding of the role required. Most of her years have been spent working with the elderly in a supporting role. She is most familiar with regards to the legalities involved in working with vulnerable people and has a keen passion for equality rights. She has on many occasions been an advocate for people and indeed been a champion for their cause.

She has worked tirelessly with young and old alike and has for the last four years volunteered her time to Axis, which is an organisation who deals with restorative justice for young people.


She has been a mentor and a counsellor to many of her colleagues and is of a nature which puts one at ease almost instantly. She operates in a non judgmental way and reacts to situations with thought composure and professionalism.


Prior to becoming a Local government Officer Mo completed a NNEB and spend some time as a private nanny and a house mother at St Christopher’s Avenue children’s home.
Mo has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys gardening as a hobby. She makes excellent cake decorations and enjoys flower arranging.
Mo recently was part of the crew that sailed on the tall ship called Stavros s niarchos on the high seas.

Mo originates from Lancashire but moved to Stoke forty years ago, she has 4 children, 5 grandchildren and a great grand child.
