Ruth
Ruth has 14 years experience working in both the statutory and voluntary sector. This includes establishing Alsager Youth Project in 1996, a local registered charity. From 1996-2002 Ruth was a trustee for the project and from 2002-2006 she was Project Manager where she gained skills in voluntary and community sector management including staff and volunteer management, youth work, and fundraising. From 2005-2007 Ruth was also a trustee for Arch North Staffs.
Ruth is currently employed full-time by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council in the Communities Team where here responsibilities include coordinating two neighbourhood partnerships and developing locality working across the district.
Previously Ruth has been employed as a Community Development Worker and a Youth Development Officer. Ruth has a BA (Hons) in Anthropology from Durham University and a MHSc in Public Health and Health Promotion from Manchester University.
